To create a space in which artists share and connect in their artistic expression and beyond.

​This space is meant to be a safe and inviting home for people who love to express their sensitivity in form and who desire to connect with others who love to do the same on a level that exceeds the artistic experience alone.

Everyone can be creative.

There is no right or wrong, better or worse, beautiful or ugly.

OUR POSITION

At Casa d'Artista we see art as the bridge to life. We decided to take this not only as a philosophy to believe in, but as a way of living to be realised. We therefore created a holiday home for artists. A place in which we intend to bridge the gap between art as a serious, expensive, individual profession or hobby and the social / private life to be lived next to it. At Casa d'Artista we connect the two separate worlds by creating a field in which artists can consciously and playfully share in both their creativity and their leisure time.

A holiday home for artists. A place where two worlds meet. Where artists experience the joy and fulfilment of connection through sharing in creative expression and sharing in leisure time.

SHARING AND CONNECTING THROUGH ART

Artists can share their own and get inspired by other types of artistic expressions like painting, dancing, clowning or singing. They create together and share the joy and play, supporting the creative energy field. And this all in nature, in open air, in a beautiful place near the beach.

SHARING AND CONNECTING THROUGH LEISURE

Artists live together in the Pousada and connect in daily holiday life through daily meditation, outgoing activities like kayaking and dinners, and enjoyment of nature, beach and each other’s company. A deeper and longer term connection.

Curious Explorers

We are here for those people who are interested in art, yet never really discovered their unique expression yet. We are here for those who seek a different kind of holiday: not only one at a beautiful location in nature, but one in a conscious community to explore and learn about artistic expression as a means to connect to themselves and others. They are willing to give back to and work in the community as an exchange for the exploration.

Conscious Creators

We are here for the hobby artists who have found their unique way of expression and have experience and confidence in sharing it. We are here for those artists who do not need to live from their art, but are rather looking for connecting in the joy of the experience with other artists. Their main longing is to get inspired by an environment that ignites their creativity and invites relaxation and connection with themselves, others and nature.
